Bank Mutual (BKMU) is down nearly 2% after saying after the bell Friday that Q4 charges related to loan loss provisions should be in a range between $18 million to $21 million. The bank also said it will record a one-time, $53.6-million charge following the early retirement of $756 million in advances owed the Federal Home Loan Bank. BKMU estimates non-performing assets will grow this quarter to between 5.4% to 5.8% of total assets, or as much as $150 million — up from $84.3 million (2.46%) in Q3 and $60.3 mln (1.72%) at the end of 2009. Foreclosed real estate on the books at year end will climb at least $32.1 million to $160 million or more. Shares are at $5.33.
